WB Postal Circle Vacancy Details:

Total No of Posts: 266 Vacancies

Name of Posts :-  Post Man/ Mail Guard

Education Qualification and other Qualification :- 

• 12th standard pass from a recognized Board.
• Knowledge of local language of the concerned state or UT. The candidate should have studied local language at a least up to 10th standard.
• Knowledge of working on computer
• Candidate should have a valid license of two wheeler or light motor vehicle. Persons with disability may be exempted from possession of license.

Local Language:-

• West Bengal: Bengali & Nepali
• Sikkim: Nepali
• A&N Islands: Hindi & Bengali

Age Limit (as on 24-11-2018)

• Age Limit: 18 to 27 years (a) For General Category (UR Applicants)
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Examination Fee

• For General/ OBC: Rs. 400/-
• For SC/ ST/ PH/ Women: NIL
• Cost of Application Form Registration for all categories: Rs. 100/- (plus Rs. 20/- for e payment commission)
• Payment Mode: The applicants have to approach e-payment Post Office & to produce Fee Payment Challan printed by him/her & to pay the FEE in CASH (INR) only.

Selection Process :- The candidates shall be subjected to an online Aptitude Test of the level of 10th class/matriculation covering the subjects/topics.
